New Members

At Southern River Agility and Obedience Dog Club we offer annual memberships.

Beginners                                            Membership Form

Beginners must complete our Membership Form and bring it to one of our enrolment nights. These nights are held on the first Monday of each term from 6:15pm. Joining the club and class enrolments are taken at our training grounds in Southern River. Please check the dates below for the next enrolment night.


Enrolment Dates
Term 1 2018 – Mon 5th Feb
Term 2 2018 – Mon 30th April
Term 3 2018 – Mon 16th July
Term 4 2018 – Mon 8th Oct

On the night: 
1. Leave your dog at home
2. Bring the following:

  • Completed Membership Form
  • Cash/cheque to cover your:
    • Annual Membership
    • Class Fees for the term (see Classes for fee info)
  • Vaccination Certificate(s)
  • Concession Card (if applicable).
  • ALL family members who will be handling your dog during the term.

The first Beginners class of the term is held after enrolment between 7pm and 7:30pm (once  classes have been allocated). This first class is compulsory and dog-free.  All family members who will be handling your dog during the term MUST attend. Failure to attend this first class will result in cancellation of your membership.

Once you have joined the club at the enrolment night you then need to register on the website to allow access to the online class enrolments for your future classes. To do this please go to Register under the members tab. You will also need to join the Facebook page to receive club updates and join your class Facebook page.
(You will only be approved if you have attended the enrolment night and handed in your membership form)

Note: We only accept dogs who are at least 16 weeks of age. And have completed their final vaccinations 2 weeks before the start of training. These classes are large group classes on the oval. We do not offer puppy-preschool type classes.


If you are transferring from an Australian National Kennel Club affiliated club please fill out the Training Enquiries form.

Members with Multiple Dogs:
Your membership allows you to train multiple dogs at our club. However, we have a one-on-one policy where you may only have one dog on the training ground at a time.

Annual Membership Fees

When you initially join the club you will need to pay your Annual Membership Fee, plus Class Fees for the term (see Classes).
